This is the one9 second annual event serving as a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization that supports our military.
Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront leads more than 6,500 volunteers across a network of field offices, and has met more than 740,000 needs since 2002. A four-star rated charity by watchdog Charity Navigator, and with an A rating by the American Philanthropy Institute, 94 percent of all donations to Operation Homefront goes to its programs. Battlefield is a flag capture scenario where teams fight to control respawn positions on the map.
Each team will have a noncapturable home base. (non-cap)
5 other capturable flag/spawn locations. (cap)
You are considered dead when a BB touches you or any part of your gear, gun or you.
Grenades, mortars, RPGs and Rockets have 15' radius kill.
Once you are dead, call yourself "OUT" pull your dead rag and proceed to a respawn point controlled by your team.
If you are Killed within the Contestable Zone, you MUST quickly move outside of this zone. No sticking around, acting as meat shield or getting in the way of operators that are alive.
To respwan at a non-cap flag, simply touch the flag pole and you are immediately back into the action, put your dead rag away and continue fighting. The non-cap flag is your teams home base.
To respawn at a cap flag location:
First, you have to touch the Primary Respawn Flag, a small orange flag located somewhere on the perimeter of the contestable zone.
Next, you must touch the Secondary Respawn Flag, the flag pole flying your teams flag. Once you have touched this flag you are back in the action. Put your dead rag away and continue fighting.
To capture a flag you simply have to raise your teams flag and lock it in. Your team mates will be allowed to respawn at that location until a member of the opposite team has entered the Contestable Zone.
The CONTESTABLE ZONE is a perimeter around the secondary flag that must be controlled to keep that location as a spawn point. Once an enemy operator has breached into the contestable zone, that flag has been neutralized as a respawn point.
Each Scenario is 90 min long. This means their will be 90 min of NONSTOP action. Take plenty of ammo and water out onto the field with you so you don't have to miss out on getting kills.
We are currently planning on have 3 separate teams.
GREEN: any green camo pattern excluding multicam. IE- Woodland BDU, Woodland Marpat, M90, woodland Atacs etc.
Top and bottom must match team requirements, so no desert pants with woodland top etc.
TAN: any desert pattern excluding multicam. IE- DCU, chocolate chip, Desert Marpat, Desert Atacs etc
MERC: This team will consist of people with more of an Independent Contractor look. IE- no camo. Multicam, ACU, ABU are approved for this team. However, any other desert/tan, or woodland/green shirts are NOT allowed.
Knife 0' engagement
1-320 FPS = 5' min engagement
321 - 450 FPS = 30' min engagement
451 - 620 FPS = 100' min engagement
621+ FPS = NOT ALLOWED
