Wait, those without flashlights have to keep them on at alltimes? That seems a little unfair...tracers don't glow in the dark themselves, last I checked. Just saying. But I like that play time MUCH better! Now I have a better possibility of coming out more often!!

For those who can't make the night games for some reason feel free to check out our schedule at CVA.  If Echo 1 will ever release the gun i'm waiting on I will put a tracer on it and make some of these.  Looking forward to it.

Both tracers and flashlights have their own tactical advantage. This is just my suggestion to make the game a little equal. Flashlights should just be turned on only when the weapon is being fired. It does two things pretty much like what a tracer unit would do, Light your bbs and give away your position.

I agree, but the rules are set up to avoid cheating. I wish we could allow people to turn on lights only while shooting. But thats not how it goes down. People "forget" or the light comes on AFTER they shoot. If you dont want to deal with the flashlight, you have other options. 1- buy a tracer unit. 2- only use pistol, shotgun or knife. 3- stay home and wish you were blasting people in the pitch black

This is gonna be cool. Quite a few of the members of my team that werent able to come before will be able to come now, we're planning on purchasing tracers sometime soon. Thanks for the early announcement, many of us in Carbon will be night ready by the time we make the switch.

Yeah, I always used flashlights, and although it sucked sometimes It was a blast.

Last night war I ditched all my gear but my knife and had some pretty intense "Interactions". DEFINATELY No.3 on Sinisters list is NOT the way to go!

Remember operators, Just because your light has to stay on, doesnt mean you cant cover it with your hand while moving, the only time you can not obstruct the light is when you are firing. That does even out the fight quite a bit. And like those operators who have to maitain their tracer units batterys and cant fire their rifle if the tracer goes down, both set ups have to be monitored so its not quite the disadvantage/advantage as it sounds like on the forum.

I have used tracers, a flashlight, and just a pistol. and had a blast useing all three!  you can make it work at what ever you have.

i have a tracer i built into my clip works great  cost you a mag and a spare battery (or 9v), and a couple of bucks in leds.
